Sales of products via the Internet are regulated in articles 50 to 68 (“distance contracts”) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code). This legislation provides the consumer with the right to withdraw from contracts or contractual proposals, guaranteeing him the right to return the purchased product and obtain reimbursement of the expense incurred. The right of withdrawal applies only to products ready for delivery and therefore does not apply to custom products.
For obvious reasons, any deposit can be refunded only if the customized instrument has not yet been put into production.
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the product is not intact, that is:
- in the absence of the original packaging;
- in the absence of integral elements of the product;
- for damage to the product.
In the event of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal for the aforementioned reasons, maple HANDMADE will return the purchased goods to the Customer, charging the shipping costs to the Customer.
The right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for consumers (natural persons who purchase the goods not for purposes related to their professional, commercial, or entrepreneurial activity), therefore it cannot be exercised by legal entities and natural persons acting for purposes related to the activity professional activity possibly carried out.
The costs of returning the product are borne by the Customer.
To exercise the right of withdrawal it is necessary to communicate to maple HANDMADE, within 10 working days of receiving the goods, the desire to withdraw from the contract in the following ways:
sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or a telegram to the following address:

Or by sending an email to the certified email address vincenzo.pascariello@pec.maple-handmade.it
Within three working days of receiving the notice of withdrawal, maple HANDMADE will inform the Customer regarding the methods of returning the goods
maple HANDMADE will provide the refund within 30 days from the date on which it became aware of the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Customer. In the event that the product has already been delivered to the Customer, maple HANDMADE will provide the refund following the return of the product and verification of its integrity.
For purchases made with one of the following payment methods:
– credit card
– bank transfer
maple HANDMADE will proceed with the refund via bank transfer.
For purchases made via PayPal payment, the refund will be made via a credit back to the Customer’s account.
